TCU Students Charged in E-Mail Threat Case

A pair of 14-year-old boys at-tending Tri-City United schools face felony terroristic threats charges for their part in sending a threatening e-mail late last month.Le Sueur County Sheriff’s

deputies determined the iden-tity of the two boys by tracing the e-mail’s Internet protocol service, said Sheriff Dave Tietz. The threatening e-mail was sent to a teacher at the high school.

It was reported to police Oct. 25.Investigators have not yet re-

leased the actual e-mail or de-tails about who was specifically threatened. The e-mail triggered heightened security at the school during the week of Oct. 26. Students were required to enter the building via the main entrance and were subjected to backpack searches during the last week of October.
