Immersion Programmes


Rural Immersion

MIT-WPU method sensitizes students towards realities of rural India by immersing(staying) in the villages and

contributing to humanity. Students will contribute to rural development especially for activities related to

banking & financial services in rural areas in India.

National Study Tour

Each student will go for National Study Tour which will include exposure to top banks, NBFCs, financial service

organizations. Each Student during this tour, will gain hands on experience of the planning and organizing of

bank & financial services management.

International Immersion

In order to create graduates who are ready to become global leaders, it is vital that they gain the relevant

experience on an international stage. The MIT-WPU Method will give you the opportunity to learn and embrace

different cultures from all over the world. You'll see how businesses operate in different environments and apply

the skills you've learnt throughout the course in practical international situations.

About the program


The Banking and Financial sector of India has been witnessing phenomenal changes due

to globalization, de-regulation, escalating competition, ever-increasing customer

expectations for innovative products, new business models and sophistication in

technology. All this has resulted into major manpower challenges for banking and

financial institutions.

Students will also learn peace as a course for self and society at large framing humanity

which is the essential for the stressed environment that the management students will

pursue their career into. The program will equip the students with the necessary

foundational knowledge and its application to the banking and financial sector. The

curriculum ensures that the students develop a holistic perspective of the heterogeneous

banking and financial sector and would prepare them for taking up managerial positions

in such organizations.

Program Objectives


• To train mid- level managers to fulfill the need of new generation skilled

manpower in transforming Banking & Financial Services Sector.

• To enhance on contemporary practices and trends such as Emerging

Technologies, Social Banking & Micro Finance and Global perspective in

Banking and Finance.

• To bridge the gap between industry and academics in the B&FS Sector.

• To shape a holistic development for the students by inculcating business ethics

and values with a broader objective of prorogating the cause of world peace.

A MBA in Banking & Financial Services program will provide

students a dynamic and engaging course curriculum which will

Summer Internship


Summer Internship is done by each student after Term III. It is an integral part

of curriculum with 4 credits weightage. Each student has to satisfactorily

complete Summer Internship for becoming eligible for the degree. It is done

in leading banks, financial institutions etc.

Banking & Finance Project

Each student will work upon a live project in Term V/VI in his/her choice of

profile such as Credit, Treasury, Risk Management, Forex & Trade Finance,

Social Banking or Portfolio Management etc.

Eligibilty


Any Graduate or appearing for final year with minimum 50 percent

(Open) and 45 percent for OBC, SC, ST, NT and others from a

recognized university.

We accept CAT 2017, MAT Sept 2017 onwards, XAT 2018, CMAT

2018, MSCET 2018 and ATMA Dec 2017 onwards with a valid

score.
