Sheepshead are showingup and being caught dayand night. Flounder are stillbiting well during the day,along with a few redfish.
White trout are biting during the day,but it really gets good at night. Groundmullet, croaker and redfish are alsohitting the pier at night.
Live and dead shrimp andsquid for everything.Cracked crab and cutmullet for black drum andredfish.

Fishing weather is here,and the reports prove it.Fishing has been greateverywhere. Specks are upto 3 pounds, and flounder
and redfish are coming from theTheodore Canal. White trout and groundmullet are biting all over. Cedar PointPier is still a hot spot for white trout,ground mullet, specks and black drum.Dog River Bridge is producing whitetrout, puppy drum, ground mullet, andbig redfish and black drum day and night.Everything is biting off the River ShackPier also. Reports indicate reds, specks,white trout and flounder are showing upat the rocks at McNally Park.
Dead and live shrimp isworking for all. Bullminnows for flounder andreds. Dead shrimp, squidand cut mullet for white
trout, ground mullet and black drum.

Anglers were catchinggood numbers of kingmackerel, Spanish mack-erel, flounder and whitingon Tuesday. Over the
weekend, they caught the same speciesplus gafftopsail catfish, croaker andredfish. Small alewives are holding onthe pier for bait.
Alewives or frozen cigarminnows for the larger fish.Everything else is eatinglive shrimp, bull minnowsor dead shrimp.

Speckled trout are bitingon a line from the pilingsat Daphne and Montroseacross Mobile Bay. Someof the fish are coming from
under birds, but others are being caughtby guys just drifting and casting grubsor live shrimp under popping corks.Redfish, flounder and a few specks arecoming from North Pass. Bass fishingis good in Game Warden Ditch, BayMinette Basin, and Threemile and Mud-hole creeks.
Everything will eat live anddead shrimp under a cork.Specks are also eatinggrubs under popping corksand MirrOlure Glad Shads
around the pilings.

The Escatawpa River re-mains in good shape.Bream fishing has contin-ued to improve, with biggerfish being caught. Bass
and catfish should be biting better withcooler water temperatures, but not manyfolks are fishing for them. White perchreports are still slim.
Bream are eating wigglers.Bass will eat wigglers andsmall spinnerbaits. Catfishwill eat wigglers.
Redfish, black drum andthe occasional floundercontinue to bite in PintoPass. Redfish, croaker,puppy drum, sheepshead,
and a few flounder are coming from theseawall. Small bass are coming fromCauseway bays. White trout and a fewground mullet are still coming fromMobile Ship Channel markers at Arling-ton. Specks are still under birds out inMobile Bay and at the golf course inBrookley.
Live and dead shrimp foreverything. Specks are al-so hitting grubs and liveshrimp under corks underthe birds.

Flounder fishing picked uparound Dog River and out-side the bridge down toaround Gaillard Island.One angler weighed one
at 6 pounds-plus. Specks are scatteredin the river, and fishermen are doingwell, but many are still undersize. Puppydrum, nice croaker, a few sheepsheadand redfish are coming from the RiverShack Pier, Wood Park and McNallyPark. White trout are plentiful at themarkers in the ship channel, the Bend-er/Austal Reef at Gaillard Island, andchannel outside the Theodore Canal.Several oversize redfish are in the samelocations.
Flounder, redfish andspecks are hitting bull min-nows, although the specksprefer live shrimp and var-ious artificial lures. Dead
shrimp will catch everything.
Fluctuating river levels aredoing bass fishermen nofavors. Right now, the bestbet to catch fish may be togo to bays along the
Causeway like Chuckfee, Delvan orChoccolotta.
In the Causeway bays,Snagless Sallies or smallspinnerbaits usually dobest, though plastic lizardswill work for fishermen with
a little patience.

Redfish and specks arecoming from Bayou LaBatre, the City Docks,Coden Bayou, Grand Bayand Coffee Island. Big
white trout, including quite a fewyellowmouths, are coming from the CityDocks. Ground mullet are coming fromKatrina Cut.
Live and dead shrimpunder a popping cork or onthe bottom in the bayousfor everything. Specks willhit MirrOlure Glad Shads.
White trout like squid.

The reefs are thick withsheepshead. Redfish andspecks are coming fromunder dock lights up anddown the Eastern Shore at
night. Fish and Magnolia rivers aregiving up a lot of bass, redfish andspecks, though some of the latter twoare still undersize. Flounder are comingfrom Weeks Bay. Nice white trout arecoming from the Big Mouth. The GrandHotel rocks are holding sheepshead,reds and specks.
Live and dead shrimp un-der corks or on split-shotrigs at night for everything.
