History of Lee High School Lee High School was built in and originally served as a junior high
school serving students from the mill village area of Huntsville. In 196 Lee officially became a high school for students in grades 9-12.
Go Generals! We are the Lee High School Generals! The emblem which represents
the Lee High School Mascot depicts five United States Generals each of whom have made outstanding contributions to the history of our country. The five generals of Lee High School are General George Washington, General Robert E. Lee, General Dwight Eisenhower,
General Colin Powell, and General Douglas MacArthur

For each year of high school completed a Lee senior will receive a gold star to be awarded during senior class awards day. When the senior is presented for commencement during the graduation ceremony a final star is presented to promote the graduate to the status of a five star Lee High School General.

Biology and a physical science
The third and fourth science credits may be used to meet both the science and CTE course requirement and must be chosen from the Alabama Course of Study: Science or CTE/AP/IB/postsecondary equivalent courses

Important Terms To Know
GPA = Grade Point Average
Cumulative GPA - the average of all grades and points earned for all of the courses you have taken throughout your high school career.
Final Grade and Points Earned:
A = 4 B= 3 C= 2 D=1 F= 0 GPA is determined by adding
total points earned and dividing by the number of courses attempted.
FROM THE START OF YOUR FRESHMAN YEAR IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP YOUR GRADES AS HIGH AS POSSIBLE. STUDY, STUDY, STUDY! IF YOU NEED HELP DON’T BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP.
