• Working as an operator/commander on a global communications detachment using VSAT, HCDR, HF, VHF and UHF equipment.

Maintenance/fault finding/installation/commissioning/testing of (but not limited to) telecoms UPS power supplies, alarms, back up generators, VHF/UHF Radio base stations, radio/telephone interfaces, transponders, antennas, feeders, SDH, PDH, Various cabling and terminating, Fibre testing, SCADA & PAGA systems, CCTV, Analogue and digital telephony systems, PABX, multiplexors, modems, amplifiers and surge protection.
