History of Kosovo and Metohija is the history of Serbia and theSerbian people. Kosovo is a mirror that reflects our past,presence and the future. Without that mirror we would not eitherknow or recognize ourselves. Neither others would know us norrecognize us. It might be, even, we couldnot survive to the present days on thehistorical stage. Perhaps some historical

storms or floods could have swept awayus from the face of the earth. Therefore, itmight be, God gave and assigned usKosovo mirror. Therefore Serbs arestrongly bounded to Kosovo, because theroots of every Serb are in Kosovo andfrom Kosovo.

Today it is more clear than it ever wasbefore. Contemporary history of Kosovoand Metohija is sad and filled with blood. Ittakes almost 620 years. It started with thefamous Battle of Kosovo, and it has not yetbeen completed. In that long history there

were only few cloudless and peacefuldays - some 20 years (from 1918-1941).All other years and centuries passed in thedarkness of slavery and sufferings on thecross. Not books, but the entire librarieswere written by domestic and foreignwriters, the living witnesses and diligentresearchers of history. So plenty ofwitnesses and testimonials speak thateach coming period was full of suffer,harder and bloodier than the previous one. You need only tolook at the book THE CRY OF OLD SERBIA by Visoki Deani

Abbot Seraphim Risti and the writings of Janiije Popovi, a

Serb teacher in Graanica, where the last hundred years underthe Turks were described. Although it was still Turkishoccupation, in slavery, the misdeeds and crimes against theSerbs, the Serbian feeble people, our holy shrines, were doneeven in that time by Albanians . When you read the books, andfollow up the events happened in our days, after1999, you getthe impression that our history is always repeated. Stronger orweaker in intensity, but it is repeated.

Since June 1999 Kosovo and Metohija are crucified again.Even before that during the war from 1941-1945, and

afterwards under communism and titoizmom, Kosovo andMetohija went through the fire sufferings, violence, burglaries,murders and persecutions... But these last ten years, theyexceeded by its brutality all that has been experienced and

written in history. Kosovo and Metohijacrucified! Could you conceive morehorrible images before our eyes? Nobody

is talking under The Cross. Under TheCross is the silence of pain, or bitterlysobbing. He on the Cross, particularly hedoes not speak. He endures and suffers.He prays for his tormentor: "Father,forgive them; for they know not what theydo." Those were the words of CrucifiedLord. We, crucified together with Kosovoand Metohija, we dare not to repeat theholy words. Because our torturers knowvery well what are they doing and whyare they doing so. What are they -terrorists and criminals from nowadays -

the Kosovo Albanians - do in Kosovo andMetohija and to Kosovo and Metohija,is known throughout the world. For theircriminal deeds they are performingpublicly ten years in front of the eyes ofthe whole world, in the presence of theentire international community in Kosovoand Metohija represented by UNMIKand KFOR, as well as EULEKSnowadays. Mentioned representatives

are not present only as witnesses, but under their directadministration and authority, with their full logistics andbenevolence criminal acts were allowed and tolerated, instead

of being prevented and uprooted. Although, at least nominally,the UN is still the present and valid governance in Kosovo andMetohija, through this part hundreds and thousands of terroristsand criminals are moving freely. Many of them sat in theinstitutions of self-proclaimed and freak creation, so calledindependent Kosovo with whom international communitylegitimately works with.

For year we have witnessed throughout the world (America,Europe, Russia) about all these terrifying events in oraltestimonies and and writing, throughout many lectures

interviews, publications. Testimonial publication CRUCIFIEDKOSOVO issued by Diocese of Rasko-Prizren and Kosovo-Metohija (three editions - in September 1999 October 1999 May2001 in Serbian and English, Serbian and French, Serbian andItalian, Serbian and Greek, Russian and English) gave full insightthrough pictures and words about those terrifying events. Tens of

thousands of copies of this publication were distributed all around theworld. In 2003 MEMORANDUM on Kosovo and Metohija saw thelight issued by The Holy Assembly of Bishops of The SerbianOrthodox Church, with a historical part starting with the first trace ofnames of Kosovo and Metohija, with special emphasis on the period

since 1999, many data on the displaced persons (250,000), aboutassassinated and kidnapped Serbs and other non-Albanians, aswell as lists of destroyed and demolished churches andmonasteries. The memorandum was published in Serbian andEnglish, making available all details to foreign factors involved in theissue and the fate of Kosovo and Metohija. However, the publicationTHE MARCH POGROM should be specially emphasized, whichExpose and testify about unseen disaster and pogrom Serbianpeople and our holy shrines ware faced with during two days (March17 and 18, 2004).It was prepared and printed in Belgrade in 2004,by Ministry of Culture of Serbia and by National Museum of theRepublic of Serbia in Pristina (temporary based in Belgrade).

Shortly after those tragic events, an unusual book appeared writtenby one German, Juergen Elssser, one unbiased and objectiveobserver and analyst of events in the territory of former Yugoslavia

and the process of its dismembering. Although this book is aboutwar crimes in a wider area of that unfortunate and former state, butits main emphasis is placed on the events that happened and,unfortunately, are still happening in Kosovo and Metohija, the heartand soul of Serbian people and the state of Serbia. Such a bookrepresents a kind of recapitulation of all what was published up tothat time not only in the Serbian language, on the events andoccurrences in Kosovo and Metohija in the last seven years. In thisbook the insight was given to the shameless lies by western mediaand propaganda about the victims before and during the NATOintervention in the Kosovo conflict. Many books in German as well

as in other languages were recently published and are about Serbiaand in general former Yugoslavia. But this book is distinguished fromthe others by its truthfulness and objectivity. This author deserves allpraises as he, writing his book, put the truth above any daily politicalinterest.

A book similar to the previous one is a book written by anotherforeigner, an Irish lady entitled HIDING THE GENOCIDE INKOSOVO A Crime against God and Humanity. This book isbased on eye witness which exposed the ill role of KFOR andUNMIK in covering crimes by Albanians (Shiptars) against Serbs intheir presence, before their eyes. In spite of this KFOR and UNMIK

used all their forces trying to concealthe truth and hide from the world.Ms. Iseult Henry, the author of thisunusual book, in twelve shockingand terrifying stories described thehell of tortures Serbs in Kosovo andMetohija passed and still are

passing. These twelve fates are onlythe most remarkable examples ofour suffering in recent times.However, the real image ofsufferings could be obtained only ifeach of these shocking storieswould be multiplied by thousand. Allwhat happened, and what is,

unfortunately with all the tragic consequences, still happening inKosovo and Metohija, is obviously a planned and devised operationfor the destruction of the Serbian historical, spiritual and culturalspace, which is of great importance for Serbian people, its state andchurch. The clear aim of such destruction lies in achieving the main

geopolitical goal - creation of mono-ethnic Kosovo and Metohija as asecond Albanian state in the Balkans, established only for theAlbanians. To achieve this objective, it is clear and understandablethat the first step should be to destroy not only the Serbs as a nation(ethnic cleansing, murder, pressure), but to delete all traces ofmillennial the presence of Serbs in the region. Measures ofrepression used against the Serbs were various, and they all havethe aim to force them to finally leave the estates and the houses, thedestruction of all Christian Orthodox holy shrines and culturalmonuments that belong to the people and that testify about itspresence on the territory during the last ten centuries. In order toreach mentioned objective, the complete of infrastructure that servedto Serbian people in a particular territory was destroyed, so that even

Serbian cemeteries were destroyed giving the testimony that evendead are not spared.

But Albanians were not satisfied with all the physical destruction.Their new "historians" the strongly supported by western mentorsand teachers started to claim Serbian holy shrines and to presentthem as "Kosovo", "Byzantine-Albanian," and even "orthodox"cultural circle, but not what they really part of - "Serbian Orthodoxholy shrines". Eyeless insolent forgery of history and re-tailoring ofthe facts are present on every step, like the ruins of destroyed andburnt holy shrines. Albanian "historians" without shame and disgraceclaim that Nemanji were in fact Nimani (!), and that Decani

monastery was built by local tribe Gashi (!), not by king Stefan Urosthe third (Deanski)! The Charter issued by king Stefan Uros theThird (Deanski) had been preserved to this days as the parchment,as well as the marble above the southern gate of Decani church. Onthe internet site "Albanian. com" beautiful church Holy mother of God- Bogorodica Ljevika, heavily damaged in March pogrom was

marked "the oldest Albanian church in the region". Similar claimswere placed concerning Ulpijana church i.e. Gracanica monastery,which was built by Holy King Milutin, the largest Serbian founder.According to them, Holy King Milutin only introduced Orthodox rite,while it belonged to the Albanian Roman Catholic tradition. The

criminal creation unilaterally and lawlessly declared IndependentKosovo gave the legitimacy to this Albanian theory establishing it as

official historical theory that is taught in schools .

In recent times Mr. Srdja Trifkovi, foreign policy editor of themagazine CHRONICLES from the Institute for InternationalRelations in Rockford, USA, in his interview to the GLASJAVNOSTI newspapers alarmed the Serbian public opinionbecause of the next series of moves by Serbian governmentregarding Kosovo and Metohija. Namely, he stated that theGovernment of Serbia by the end of 2011 would recognize the falsestate of Kosovo and it would accept the normalization of relationswith all its neighbors. After that, in 2012 will be established "KosovoOrthodox Church". The authorities in Serbia and Republika Srpskaalready started to look for the convenient successor to PatriarchPavle. The successor should agree, due to the "survival of the Serbsin Kosovo" to the establish "Kosovo Orthodox Church".

The systematic physical destruction of Serbian Orthodox churchesand cemeteries in Kosovo and Metohija after the end of the war isterrifying, as it is carried out even in this days. But for our Serbianpeople and our church much more horrible and dangerous is the"reconstruction" which performed by Albanians (ie, the same peoplewho have destroyed them) based on the Memorandum from 2005again with the help of the West (SE), and by the blessing and withthe assistance of SOC Serbian Orthodox Church . In that wayAlbanians in future will have the right to claim they belong to them,

and doing so the traces of centuries-old historical presence of theSerbs in Kosovo and Metohija would be swept away.

All crimes and barbarisms mentioned and described in these books,and many others mentioned and described in other publications,bring change of the complete identity of spiritual and cultural cradle ofthe Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, transforming Kosovo and

Metohija from a purely Christian area in the new Islamic jamahiriyain the heart of the Balkans and Europe. Current islamization ofKosovo and Metohija is not something to be thought about, talkedabout or discussed. In fact, it is cruel reality which happens to us,Christian Serbs, constantly, every day, and what we feel by

ourselves in last ten years. Here, we do not talk about simpleislamization which happened in previous centuries in many parts ofthe world, this is forcibly uprooting of one Christian nation (Serbian)from its spiritual cradle. That it is not simply someone's "opinion", it isenough to see, and at least hasty re-emphasize what happened inthe last ten years in Kosovo and Metohija, specifically since June1999 to present time.

In short, the national and religious and religiou identity of theprovince has been changed. . About two-thirds of the Christianpopulation (about 250 thousands) were expelled from Kosovo andMetohija, over 150 Orthodox churches and monasteries, many ofthem built in the 13th and 14th century were pure pearls of OrthodoxSerbian culture and medieval art, all of them were destroyed downto the ground. In the same time over 400 new mosques with thehelp of Saudi Arabia and other Islamic countries from the Persian

Gulf were built. Hundreds of Serbian cemeteries were destroyed,thousands tombs desecrated and grave monuments and crossesbroken. A special study is required if one would talk about thedestruction of Serb homes and other property, the number oflootings. If you add the number of killed and kidnapped Serbs, thenumber of wounded and injured, all kinds of violence and lootings,the number of attacks on Christians Serbs and our holy shrines (thatis not possible to talk in detail in a short lecture, and about that mattermany books were written), then you would get the right impressionof terror, ethnic cleansing committed in the "peace" and under theauspices of the UN and the EU.

Policy that allows all of these crimes at the beginning of the thirdmillennium in the heart of Europe is criminal, too. It is simply notpossible to understand how US their allies from EU could fightagainst terrorism around the world (Afghanistan, Iraq, Hamas, etc..),while they support the same kind of terrorism jihad In Kosovo andMetohija. It seems that the EU is not aware that by permitting the

violent islamization of Kosovo and Metohija and by building the basefor militant jihad in Serbian province, EU is destroying thefoundations it is based on, as jihad does not accept any border.Jihad action in Kosovo will soon be felt in Europe itself, and probablyin USA.

We have hoped for along time that the U.S.and the EU would takethis matter seriouslyinto consideration,particularly during theissue for the futurestatus of Kosovo and

Metohija was inagenda, and that theywould help in solvingthis problem based onrespect of the principlesof standards ofinternational law, theHelsinki Conventionand the UN SecurityCouncil resolution1244 according to allof them Kosovo is anintegral and inalienablepart of territory ofdemocratic state of Serbia, and so should be in future. Unfortunately,our hopes were not fulfilled. U.S. and EU were active together toencourage Albanians to promote unilaterally, illegally andillegitimately on February 17 last year (2008) their second state in theBalkans under the name of Independent Kosovo. The U.S. andsome EU countries soon recognized it. However, two thirds ofcountries in the world have not approved the violent act and, despiteenormous pressure, until today did not recognize the freak creation.It is known to the many in the world know that based on internationallaw is legitimate and possible to seek and find a solution for a betterfuture of all citizens of Kosovo and Metohija within the existingborders of the state of Serbia, and Kosovo is the inalienable part ofSerbia. Such solution should provide Kosovo Albanians theguarantee for enjoying all those rights national minorities have in theworld. The condition for enjoying such rights lies in request thatnational minorities recognize states they are living in. Therefore, webelieve that Kosovo and Metohija, in in spite to all that happened, willnever be independent, an independent state, or more accuratelysaid: Kosovo and Metohija will never be able to be detached from

the state-legal system of Serbia, can not be something that is notSerbia. Any imposed solution, and this lawless independencedeclaration, Serbia and the Serbian people will never accept andgive consent to it. Because, simply, the "solution" would not be asolution, but kind of occupation and violence, established on aninterim force. And we know from history that every occupation is

temporary and transitory. Conquered by force took, it will be lost byforce. It is know to those who took by themselves the right to regulatethe other people's house by their discretion.

the 20th century, as evidence of continuous crimes and genocide

that Shqiptars (Albanians, or Arbanas) committed during the

centuries to our people, mainly under the protection of a variety of

occupiers and invaders (Turks, Germans, communists), or by the

protection of the international community, embodied in KFOR,

UNMIK , EULEX. Two promotions of this book were performed in

Belgrade: the October Book Fair (October 22, 2008) and Kolarac

(December 09, 2008). One promotion was effected in Kosovo and

Metohija, in the monastery of Gracanica (January 25, 2009). This

latest book, as during promotions was mentioned, as well as many

books before it, mentioned and not mentioned above, gives theconviction to all of those who committed crimes and their mentors,

there no nice future to anybody if such future lies on crimes against

innocent victims, destruction and desecration of cemeteries . As

soon as they realize this simple truth it will be better for all. We stay in

hope.
