Preface
We are very pleased to introduce the proceedings of the International Conferenceon Emerging Trends in Communication, Computing, and Electronics (IC3E 2018)organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication, University ofAllahabad, Allahabad, India. The conference was organized on the occasion of the60th Anniversary of J.K. Institute of Applied Physics and Technology, Departmentof Electronics and Communication, University of Allahabad. This conference gaveresearchers an excellent opportunity and provided an internationally respectedforum for the discussion of scientific research in the technologies and applicationsof different fields of communication, computing, and electronics.
IC3E 2018 received a total of 206 submissions. Technical program committeetook tremendous efforts to review the submitted papers in a short time, and almostevery paper was reviewed by at least three reviewers. On the recommendationof the technical program committee, 67 papers were accepted for the presentation inthe main conference; out of them, 61 papers were presented in the conference, andwe have shortlisted 56 papers and included them in the conference proceedings.These papers are divided into nine main categories of communication, computing,and electronics. The aim/objective of IC3E 2018 was to make it an excellentacademic conference with quality papers and the involvement of experts.
We are thankful to Springer for their technical co-sponsorship and the spon-sorship of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), India; Council ofScientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), India; and Defence Research andDevelopment Organization (DRDO), India.

About the Editors
Dr. Ashish Khare completed his master’s in computer science and his Ph.D. at theUniversity of Allahabad in 1999 and 2007, respectively. He pursued postdoctoralresearch at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, Korea. Currently, he isworking as Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics andCommunication, University of Allahabad, India. His research interests includeapplications of wavelet transforms, computer vision, cyber security, and under-standing human behavior. He has worked as Principal Investigator for researchprojects funded by UGC and DST. He has authored three books and published morethan 100 articles in international peer-reviewed journals and conferenceproceedings.
Dr. Uma Shankar Tiwary obtained his Ph.D. in electronics engineering from theIndian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, in 1991. He iscurrently Professor at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT),Allahabad, where he has various academic and administrative responsibilities. Hisresearch interests include image processing, language processing, human–computerinteraction, and cognitive computing. He has published seven books and more than100 research articles in international journals and conference proceedings. He isalso Senior Member of IEEE.
Dr. Ishwar K. Sethi obtained his M.Tech. and Ph.D. from the Indian Institute ofTechnology (IIT) Kharagpur in 1971 and 1978, respectively. Currently, he isProfessor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, OaklandUniversity. Prior to joining Oakland University, he was with the Wayne StateUniversity, IIT Delhi, and IIT Kharagpur. His major areas of research include datamining, image and video databases, document image processing, pattern

recognition, and machine learning. He has published more than 250 articles ininternational journals and conference proceedings. He has served on the editorialboards of several reputed journals and also as a guest editor of numerous conferenceproceedings. He is Fellow of IEEE.
Dr. Nar Singh received his M.Tech. from the University of Allahabad in 1975 andhis Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, in 1989. Currently, he isProfessor in the Department of Electronics and Communication, University ofAllahabad, where he has various academic and administrative responsibilities. Hismajor research interests include optical fiber communication system, coherentsystems, digital communication, and communication systems. He has worked asPrincipal Investigator for four research projects funded by AICTE. He has pub-lished more than 100 research articles in leading international journals and con-ference proceedings. He has also edited five conference proceedings. He is Fellowof IETE and several international and national societies.
