General Skills Questions
List the most important reading strategies: C_ Sca_ Ski_
Be specific when referring to images and say WHY they’re effective. Describe the images.
Use ZOOM FOCUS on key words that help enhance your answer.
Annotate and highlight the paper with the question numbers (collect your highlighters tomorrow)
In order to not end up with incomplete answers, monitor what throughout? Write this word on your paper.
For both papers, write AFORREEST, VIPPP, PAF. You will use these especially in the writing paper. Tick them off as you go along in and the writing paper, use them twice: once for Q1 and once for Q2.
Ensure you DEVELOP your answers using your plan. ENSURE YOU PLAN. Work in chronological order and ensure you have an introduction and conclusion.
SPAG: Close your sentences with full stops and use exclamations, question marks, full stops, commas, capitals, paragraphs; try to write in either simple, compound or complex sentences.
It is critical that you find differences and similarities in question 4 and speak of them, using PEE to support your answers.
