1957 − Begins as the American Society for Hospital Purchasing Agents (ASHPA) & first newsletter released!Purchasing Agents (ASHPA), & first newsletter released! Note: WSHMMA began in 1964
1962 – ASHPA holds it’s first annual conference
1970 − ASHPA grows to 1,000+ members
