LEARN & DRAW SERIES LA PLAYA (THE BEACH)

Summary: It is school holidays time and Ani & her hamster, Kiwi, are ready to enjoy them but… ups! It’s raining outside, they can’t go out and play: No problem! They decide to have fun drawing and painting the beach. They will learn, page after page, how to draw more than 100 things that can be found at the beach through the book increasing the difficulty level and techniques (composition, colour, texture…) gradually, step by step, until the end, where they will be able to do a final mural with all the resources given through the book. Author & Illustrator: With the pedagogic assistance of Prof. Óscar Carreño (College of Visual Arts at UANL), specialist in arts and craft education, we have design book structure and teaching method. And then, Ana Teresa Martínez (Monterrey, 1980), a new talent illustrator (Honorific mention on the 2010 Latin American illustrator’s catalogue) has put her creativity to our service in order to give life to the project. Teresa Martínez dominates both digital and traditional illustration and she has beautifully illustrated the Learn &. She has worked for magazines and publishers, among which are: Santillana, Oxford University Press, SM, Richmond Publishing, etc. And she has worked with various design and advertising agencies

EL BOSQUE (THE FOREST)

Summary: Oliver has just realised that the car is broken so Ani, her hamster Kiwi and himself, will not be able to go to the forest to camp, explore, fish, discover insects… Instead of being sad, Kiwi decides that if they can’t go to the forest, they will create the forest in their house! They will learn, page after page, how to draw more than 100 things that can be found in the forest: mountains, rivers, waterfalls, oak trees, flowers, mushrooms, bears, forest rangers, bikes, fairies, etc. through the book increasing the difficulty level and techniques (composition, colour, texture…) gradually, step by step, until the end, where they will be able to do a final mural with all the resources given through the book.
