The Ambidextrous Enterprise: ProcessExcellence meets InnovationAlmost every corporation on our planet is on aquest to outperform its rivals in two key businessactivities; improve the performance of currentbusiness, and create the future for the business.

The Process Excellence approach has provided aclear roadmap and perfected a sustainableapproach to pursue the first set of activities. Thesecond set of activities – creating the futurethrough doing things different – is the mandateof innovation. Most companies however, strugglewith balancing these key sets of activities. Onlyvery few companies, called ‘AmbidextrousOrganizations’, excel at delivering superiorperformance at both of these sets of activities.

In this working group, we will discuss how tosimultaneously manage the ying and yang natureof efficiency and creativity to meet the challengesof tomorrow.

Key Learning Outcomes include:• Discovering a process based approach to

innovation• Developing an ambidextrous culture for

efficiency and creativity• Leveraging innovation approaches for next

generation Process Excellence

Implementing a sustainable World ClassManagement frameworkLean, Six Sigma, TPM & WCM, without thenecessary Management System, are notsustainable Improvement methodologies.Sustainable business improvement requires acomplete system yet still most companies do nothave the required framework in place to effectivelyimplement the long term transformational processrequired of the individual improvementmethodologies. Just ask yourself:• Are you relying on external or internal experts

for deployment?• Are you using lots of different improvement

methodologies that are not deployedsimultaneously across the business?

• Do you have functional experts responsible fordifferent parts of implementation?

• Are you struggling to measure the status ofdeployment across all your sites in real time?

• Do you have poor visibility of the organization’simplementation road map, for the next 5 to 6years?

• Do you suffer from frequently changingmethodologies, tools and management?

If you have answered yes to 3 or more questions thechances are your CI initiative won’t be sustainable.

This workshop will allow you to not only identifythe gaps in your current program but also to helpyou to build a more sustainable managementframework for continued World Class Results.
