The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification Programme is designed to meet the needs of busy professionals in both manufacturing and services sectors. Participants will experience an introduction to the use of tools and methodologies that will empower them to lead as well as participate in Lean Six Sigma projects in their organizations. Upon successful completion of the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, the participant will have tools at the ready for participating as a Green Belt on a Six Sigma project. Pedagogy & Project Work

The programme will be delivered through a mix of lectures, presentations, case studies and team

based exercises. The interactive classroom experience will focus on strategic thinking, flexibility,

teamwork and communication skills.

As part of the programme, each participant will be required to create specific plans for their

organizations using the Lean Six Sigma concepts. Participants should plan on working in teams on

projects outside of the formal programme. This will entail spending close to 4-5 hours a week

outside of the scheduled class time.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate:

To earn the LIBA Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificate, the

programme requires the participants to meet the minimum standard

of 80% in programme attendance and completion of all project and

course work to satisfactory levels.

There will be a formal evaluation at the end of the course and on

successfully qualifying in the assessment, participants will be

certified as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Professional.

Faculty for the Programme

The programme will be led by Prof. Kidambi Srinivasan (Ex. General Manager, Brakes India). He has

over thirty five years of industry experience and his specialism, includes practice of lean Six Sigma,

SCM, Discrete Manufacturing and Business Process Re-engineering.

He is himself a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a Visiting Faculty at LIBA.
