The premise
The effectiveness of leadership is dependent on the quality of the conversations held. And yet, when faced with ‘difficult’ issues, many of us experience a tension; on the one hand saying too little and avoiding the issue, on the other hand saying too much and jeapordising a working relationship. Therefore developing our ability to have real and meaningful dialogue, with the widest range of personalities possible, whether in individual or group conversations is work we all need to do.
‘The conversation is the relationship’ Susan Scott
The offer
We invite you to participate in a two-day in-depth, practical, powerful immersion in the art and science of conversation and dialogue.
During the course of the two days you will develop your self-awareness – what enables you to have great quality conversations and what gets in the way? You will learn about some of the theory and practice that helps us understand how to build relationships through conversation, both one-to-one and in group situations; learn with and from your peers in an experiential, supportive process; practice and experiment with simple, powerful tools to help you lead yourself and others through dialogue.
The intended outcomes
After the workshop you will:
• Be more effective in your current role, with greater insight, authority and impact;
• Experience a shift in mindset from avoiding ‘difficult’ conversations, to feeling resourced to have many different conversations in many different contexts;
• Be better able to manage positively other people’s experience of you;
• Have a greater ability to work with diverse views and conflict within groups.

“This was far removed from the traditional development experience. Thoughtful, provocative and hugely reflective of ones self and how you view others. Powerful development for leaders.”
“For someone who usually dreads this sort of thing and feels it is a waste of time, I was amazed at how much I enjoyed it; how much I got out of it and how much I have grown as a result. A fun, practical, interactive, memorable experience will ensure sustained learning”
“Excellent. A very relevant and useful session delivered by enthusiastic, insightful and talented people”
“This training has challenged my thinking and understanding in ways that feel different to other leadership training I’ve had, by enabling me to reflect on the strengths and limitations of my current leadership style, and leaves me utterly galvanised and empowered to make positive changes to the ways I work”
“Thought provoking training of the sort that isn’t just surface learning but asks one as a leader to look into the fundamentals of leading in a non-judgemental way”
“Good mix of theory and practical elements on the course. Presenters and facilitators put me at ease, thank you”.
