COMMITMENT: There’s a difference between Interest & Commitment. When we are interested in doing something, we do it only when it’s convenient. However, when you are committed to something, you accept no excuses, only results. Thus commitment is doing the thing you said you would do, long after the mood you said it in has left you. We have completed our 1 st year of MBA however in the view of our group we are still not committed to whatever we say, whether it is a commitment of following the Golden Rule in the class, taking our meals daily on time, going to gym regularly, etc. No matter what we commit, with a change in mood at any given point of time, a lot of us give up on what we committed very easily. In our view, to become a successful leader we ought to be committed to whatever we say, no matter how difficult is the situation.
