Dr. Heidi Vermeer-Quist, plenary and session speaker: Dr. Heidi Vermeer-Quist is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 17 years of clinical, teaching and consulting experience. One of her core passions is to serve the Christian church with best practices of psychology.

Jean Holthaus, LISW, session speaker: Jean is the Pella Clinic manager for Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services and has been a therapist for 23 years. Jean participates with Pine Rest’s Faith Community Outreach, an initiative designed to serve area clergy, church and ministriesas well as develop new services specifi cally designed to benefi t the faith community.

Julie Porter, session speaker: Julie Porter, MA, LMHC is a counselor with TEAM Restoration Ministries, who has a passion to come alongside individuals, couples and families offering them faith, hope and healing through the ministry of Jesus Christ.

Ed Ashby, session speaker: Dr. Ed Ashby is a licensed mental health counselor and owner of Family Legacy Counseling. In addition to serving as an individual, marriage and family counselor for the past 25 years, Dr. Ashby has been an ordained minister for over 35 years, pastoring churches in California, Ohio, and Iowa.

Pat Ashby, session speaker: Patricia Ashby is a licensed independent social worker with over 20 years of counseling experience with individuals, couples and families. She is the owner of Family Legacy Counseling and also the owner/director of Workplace and Family Life Services, an employee assistance program providing counseling and referral services for the past 20 years for Vermeer.
