Dorothy needed help with her problem; she asked various people with no answers:

Her grandparents The ranch handsWhat was the result???

Glinda had an ulterior motive.

Her land was in trouble She needed Dorothy’s

help. She didn’t let on that

Dorothy could go home right away.

She enlisted Dorothy’s help without her knowledge.

Dorothy meets her “employees” and learns of their needs:

The Scarecrow needs a brainThe Tin Man needs a heartThe Lion needs courage

OR DO THEY????

Dorothy and company believe that “The Wizard” is the answer to all their problems.

What do they see when they get there?

The man behind the curtain. Always dress the part; people believe

what they see!!!

Dorothy and company faced many obstacles in their goal of finding the Wizard of Oz.

They overcame all and continued on their journey.

First came “The Poppy Field”

This is my favorite part of the Wizard of Oz. Their next obstacle: OH NO NOT THE FLYING MONKEYS!!!!

The attack was planned by the Scarecrow – but he has no brain?

The attack was led by the lion- but he has no courage?

The reason they attacked was the Tin Man felt bad- but he has no heart?

The scarecrow gets a diploma, and that makes him smart?

The Tin Man gets a “heart” but doesn’t he cry the whole movie because he keeps getting rusted?

The Lion has had courage the entire movie and leads them into the castle.

Did Dorothy know this the whole time???

Following is a possible scenario of Dorothy not being a good leader!!!

(If you get offended easily now is the time to take a bathroom break!)
