Leader’s  Guide  Week  of  April  5,  2015  Looking  Back  on  Easter  2015    Looking  back  on  Easter  can  be  a  time  of  celebrating  our  faith  in  Christ.  “I  know  it’s  been  longer  for  some  than  for  others,  but  can  you  recall  what  your  first  Easter  was  like  after  you  understood  the  true  meaning  of  it?”  Draw  out  some  personal  facts  like,  “where  was  it,  what  kind  of  church,  who  did  you  attend  with,  do  you  remember  much  about  the  service,  etc.”  Then  ask,  “What  do  you  think  people  who  were  either  new  to  the  faith  or  have  to  come  to  faith  would  have  gotten  out  of  GFC’s  services  this  past  weekend?”  If  someone  invited  a  friend  or  family  member,  as  how  they  responded.    Then,  “How  about  you?”  What  did  you  learn  about  the  relevancy  of  the  resurrection  to  your  life?”  Here  you  would  hopefully  move  into  the  subject  of  fear.    “Do  you  agree  that  fear  is  everywhere  in  our  lives?”  “Are  there  some  particular  fears  that  you  are  facing  that  we  can  pray  for  you  about?”  These  last  couple  of  questions  could  lead  you  into  a  time  of  pastoral  ministry  and  prayer  with  each  other.
