It was the third year for the fundraiser to benefit the Alumni Foundation for Youth Scholarship Fund. Hope that everybody had a happy and healthy Thanksgiving. There certainly is a whole lot to be thankful for this year. I am certainly grateful for the opportunity to serve you as the Vice-President of your Alumni Board of Directors. It has been a great year to date, and we have more events on the horizon. Just a quick reminder of a few of our upcoming events: Comedy night will be coming to the Lyric: On Saturday, May 24 we will be hosting two (2) back to back comedy shows at the Lyric Theatre. We will be presenting professional comedians, and all proceeds raised will benefit Leadership. We anticipate lots of smiles and lots of laughter! Please feel free to contact myself if you are interested in joining us as a sponsor. [email protected] Benihana is back: After such a successful event last year, we will again be hosting the Benihana “Celebrity Chef” function. Hope that everybody had a happy and healthy Thanksgiving. There

certainly is a whole lot to be thankful for this year. I am certainly

grateful for the opportunity to serve you as the Vice-President of

and contact the center. It is designed for iPhones

and iPads for users to update addresses, locate

polling precincts, early voting and view a sample

ballot. It can be found in the Apple App Store by

searching for Martin Votes.

51,000 entrants

in November at

the New York

M a r a t h o n ,

where they

finished the

largest mara-

thon race in the

world. This was

Sheryl’s fourth marathon and Elliot’s first marathon.

They trained for two years, the first year the race was

cancelled because of superstorm Sandy. They both

continue to run weekly and look forward to the Key West

Half Marathon in January.
