• Less is more– Practice being BRIEF:

• B (Background): provide quick context

• R (Reason): explain why your speaking now

• I (Information): provide 2‐3 nuggets of info

• E (End): determine a note on how you want to conclude communication

• F (Follow‐up): anticipate questions and prepare answers in advance
