Faire is an irregular verb that has no distinctive pattern to its conjugationHowever, there are some easy ways to remember how to conjugate faire.

As for every verb in French, the same French form of the conjugation of faire applies to three different meanings in English (same translation for the three English expressions):
Some easy ways to remember how to conjugate faire:
1. All of the forms of the verb start with “f”, like the infinitive faire.
2. The stem for most of the forms of the verb is “fai_”.
Add the endings (je) -s
(tu) -s
(il, elle, on) -t
(nous) -sons
3. The vous form is different (faites) and needs to be memorized.
4. The ils and elles form of faire start with “f” and end in “ont” (like avoir – ont, aller – vont,
and être – sont).
