Since the winter of 2012, the feminine wardrobe is going back to the 90’s and an utilitarian piece, originally used by carpenters to put away their tolls in the pockets. Overalls are in this summer of 2013 in all styles and models so you don’t leave it aside. Skinny, short, with skirts, patterns, appliqués and of course, the classic jeans.

The 90’s are more and more in our lives, and comes the question, do you remember ear cuff ? The earrings that was pinned on the top of your ear and it was exclusivity of rockers of the time and today, thanks to the fashion show of Rodarte, Roberto Cavalli, Marchesa and Chanel, they are back with full power and are making the ears look prettier with new and older versions. Chains or stones, ear cuffs are becoming more glamorous and vary a lot, it may be just a discreet earring with a fitting or practically cover you entire ear. Aren’t they beautiful? But relax; the audacity

is just for one ear.

EAR CUFFS

Go with caps! The item has never been so desired by women than these last seasons. What before was a masculine accessorize, now is part of the feminine wardrobe. And not only that, some women even stroll around the man’s section to get what would be theirs. Basic, they got out of the baseball field to become detached with patterns of animal, floral, cut stone, spikes laces or even leather. It has all

styles.

didn’t stay long in charge of the creations, in 1999 he declared his retirement and left the label on the hands of his helpers, that soon was granted with the presence of Antonio Marras in 2003, gathering, between Latin references, to Kenzo’s Japanese inheritance.

Today the label Kenzo is more than 40 years on the market, finds itself with the capacity of regenerate and rebuilt, independent of trends linked to a time period. Ethnics influences and the strong usage of colors and daring patterns are part of his unmistakable style, mixing oriental and occidental ideas, transforming traditional models in contemporaneous and innovating pieces, this the duo Carol Lim and Humberto Leon are doing it well. The owners of the Opening Ceremony are the current art directors of the label and they put the pinch that it was missing to turning Kenzo in the every day look of the most important fashionists of the world. It was starting, or better, restarting the Jungle era with its main “character”, the tiger in the winter of 2012 and come back of the sweater, that the duo fought with the twisted

noses of the executive-directors and 20.000 pieces were sold, not counting the waiting list at stores.

With a new concept, Carol and Humberto are rescuing Takada’s roots and redesigning it to a new history. The tiger, for an example, was used by the stylist in 1983. Besides sweaters, a young and cool air also blooms with the third partnership with Vans tennis, with the tennis pattern just as the outfits. Now the caps, that also became hits on the streets, it’s a very well succeeded partnership with New Era with designs “59FIFTY Fitted Cap” that follow the duo since August of 2012.

Kenzo Takada it’s a Japanese stylist funder of the perfume label, cosmetics and clothes by Kenzo, graduated at Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo.

After graduation, Takada drew models for a fashion magazine in Tokyo, but his goal was to go to Paris and, in 1965, he moved to the French capital. With the intension of staying only six months in the city to get to know the fashion and style of the French people’s lives, but he decided to stay more, because the stylist worked as a freelancer for five years, getting client as Loouis Féraud and Jacques Delahaye.

Between 1969 and 1970, Kenzo got a space at the Gallerie Vivienne, opening his first store, Jungle Jap, and making his first fashion show to reporters showing the re-creation of the human figure, in a way never before known, with new volumes and proportions. After two months, one of his dresses went to the cover of the French Elle. In 1972 he changed the mane of the store to Kenzo and one year later he was invited to do a fashion show together with Chantal Thomass and Dorothée Bis, showing his prêt-à-porter pieces that soon after were along side with Givenchy, Dior, Sonia Rykiel, Yves Saint Laurent and Chloé, forming the fashion team of the week in Paris. Kenzo gave a big leap on the market as a rocket in fashion and beauty articles for men and women, such as the perfumes that started to sell on the fragrance market.

In 1993 he already belonged to the French company of luxury articles LVMH, merge of the groups Louis Vuitton, Möet et Chandon and Hennessy. Takada SUMMER CAMPAIGN 2013.

The first Raf Simons collection to Dior’s haute couture, were made of many of the label’s classics, as the super feminine suits and the strapless tops. The hip and the waist, very highlighted by the stylist, divided the scene with looks with appliqués of flowers, mini corsets, vests, long dresses, volume and transparency.

In the beauty by Pat McGrath’s hands, it’s time for mouth that takes the same idea of the eyes practically crystallized in the fashion show of prêt-a-porter. On top of the lipstick, the Swarovski crystals on the models lips give a final touch to the pink and red colors. On the eyes, a very thin eyeliner line or a mask with glitter; eyebrows discretely corrected and almost nothing of mascara. The make up was accompanied by very short wigs. Besides Raf ’s creations and Pat’s beauty, what also enchanted the fashionists was that instead of colored flowers, this summer the fashion show had paths with shrubberies and some trees in the scenery, called Dior’s Garden of Earthly Delights.

After three months of following over 100 fashion shows summer of 2013 from Haute Couture and winter of 2013 among New York, London, Milan and Paris, it is hard to list in a few pages the best, but we separated to you our favorites and some winter trends.

A delicate collection, olive tree leaves of gold and silver, Paloma Picasso brings a variety of pieces to Tiffany & Co. Earrings, rings, small ornaments and bracelets, Paloma reflects her admiration for nature, mainly the stillness of the Moroccan garden in her house, to create the “Olive Leaf” collection. Some pieces have their leaves around colored stones, as olivine and rubellite. Available at Tiffany’s. We loved the 18 k gold bracelet of US$ 11.500.00, a luxury without exaggeration.

NAIL POLISHES:

BETWEEN BEAUTY AND PREOCCUPATION

Which is the news on the nail polish market? Did the retro colors come back? How to have well done finger nails? Just this already guarantees a certain public, fuzz and noise in stores and drugstores. To this comes a curiosity and is hard not to stop in

a drugstore to check the latest offer or something talked about in a magazine.

These and others are questions that go through a woman’s head, a teenager and even the little ones. But what’s really behind the choice of a nail polish?

There are lots of teenagers that dismiss the usage of foundation before the nail polish itself, going straight to it. Others are preoccupied with their body health and follow the rules correctly.

Nevertheless the foundations protect the fingernails avoiding the direct contact with the chemical product. There are still some teenagers pulling the alchemist, offering the so called “handcrafted nail polishes”.

For that, I decided to write about this incredible world of the nail polishes and what is hidden around it, looking to enlighten what is what among sustainable, handcrafted and conventional.

The handcraft nail polishes are the ones that utilizes the same nail polishes that we know, but they are jiggered by youngsters or grown ups in their own houses, without a specific lab. These people mix the nail polishes, use glitters, what ends up creating colors that we don’t know on the market. They buy their own flasks, use a suggestive name to the nail polishes and sell them in their own blogs through a photo gallery of painted nails with the new colors for the market.

Now the ones that are called sustainable are the ones that offer products free of chemical substances. Such substances in the certain nail polishes attack, not only human beings, but also the environment. These substances are: the toluene that put on the nail polish to secure a fast and efficient drying; the formaldehyde that offers a durability and adherence to the person’s nail; and the DBP (dibultyl phathalate) that it’s a type of plasticizer, to give softness to the nail polish resin. And maybe what lots of users don’t know it is that such substances cause allergies, easily broken nails making them weak, cuticles illness, besides the gravest of all is the accumulation of such substances in our organism.

The sustainable nail polishes intend to abolish these substances, not totally in some and, in others, actually none toxic substance at all. There are companies, such as Colorama, were able to abolish from their nail polish the toluene and the formaldehydes, and Revlon, worried with their buyer, ended up launching the Scented Nail Enamel, being free of the 3, abolishing the substances named above. It is good to think that something is changing and people are worried with the aspect, we are looking for good natured products.

I emphasize among the sustainable the Scotch Naturalis nail polish line that enchants the buyers for being water based and without heavy metals. There are also people manufacturing these nail polishes in websites, as Maria Helena, her nail polishes are made of natural products, returnable flasks offering the client besides quality, the preoccupation with the environment and the consumer’s health.

And for the moms, here goes a tip for the children consumer, which is the also water based nail polish free of toxins, free of paraben, hypo allergic and biodegradable. This is the Hospscoth Kids nail polish.

Think about this before painting yours and your daughter ’s nails after all, to be informed it’s important, not only for our health, but also to the planet. Spread, send it forward, this is what Le Rouge wants from you. Be someone that makes a difference in the middle of the crowd. After all fashion is information, innovation, is being fashion.

TIPS

The science fiction movie is passed in the year of 2077 portraying the personal drama of the engineer Jack Harper, played by Tom Cruise that wanders the Earth after a war against aliens. Jack meets a woman full of enigmas that

shows him a different world before for him known, giving him a series of situations that will force him to question everything he knows. With a Hollywood super production, filmed in high digital resolution technology (4k) and thought to the big screen to IMA format, it has a minimum of visual photography. Some of the panoramic landscape of Hawaii’s sky and from the peak of a volcano were included, images that were projected on the set during the recordings. Besides Tom, the cast also counts with other stars as Morgan Freeman and Melissa leo, with direction and screenplay by Joseph Kosinski, who already directed “TRON: Legacy”.

In 1998, Louis Vuitton released a collection of books “City Guides” and, in 2013, the collection it’s back with new destinations and full of illustrations after 15 years. Each invited artist gave a tip and illustrated different places where they live,

like in Paris. The Congolese painter Chéri Samba explores the city of lights, the French illustrator Jean-Philippe Delhomme went to discover the city that never sleeps, New York. The Japanese artist, Natso Seki, looks to London with a mix of coloring pencil and collage, and at last, the American Daniel Arsham went to meet Easter Island. The four books are already available at Louis Vuitton stores for €45.00. Next year they will be in Venice and Vietnam.

Justin Timberlake it’s on the top after he returned to the musical scenery.Production of Timberlake and Jerome “J-Roc” Harmon, Justin puts out his newest record, “20/20 Experience”, after 6 years without putting anything on the market music

wise, and se reached the number of 968 thousand copies in a week. The album is just like the singer, it has an R&B catch light and nice to listen, but without forgetting some heavy beats that makes JT do all those dances that only he can and we want to copy at parties. The highest point on the CD and that is already on every radio station é the partnership with the master Jay-Z in “Suit & Tie”. The samba beats in “Strawberry Bubblegum” and the pop in “Tunnel Vision” certainly will be on every iPod as a season hit. And for those that are fans of the Pop King, Michael Jackson, you can relate with the “Let the Groove Get In” track. Lots of mixture with the old days Justin, Michael Jackson and Steven Wonder airs are part of this work that it’s on also in iTunes.
