The future tense uses the verb ‘aller’ (to go). This is an irregularverb, so doesn’t follow the rules and you have to learn it. Can you match the different parts of the verb together? Write the Frenchand English in your book.
I am going/I go
You are going/You go (informal)
He/She is going / He/She goes
We are going/We go
You are going/You go (polite/plural)

aller = to go
So, the future tense is rather easy…
Just take the correct part of ‘aller’, depending on ‘WHO is going
to do the verb’ and add the INFINITIVE of the verb.
The INFINITIVE is the part of the verb that comes straight fromthe dictionary and usually means ‘to…’ In French, there are three possible endings… -er, -ir and -re
e.g. jouer = to play sortir = to go out
faire = to do
Try and write these sentences in the future tense in your book beforeclicking for the answers…
