Music• Musically, Louisiana French is and has been the traditional language for singing

music now referred to as Cajun, Zydeco, and Louisiana French Rock. Today, Cajun, Creole Stomp, and Louisiana French Rock remain the only three genres of music in Louisiana utilizing French instead of English. In Zydeco, most artists interject expressions and phrases in French in songs predominantly sung in Louisiana English.
