Following on from the murder of 2 young girls in Soham the Following on from the murder of 2 young girls in Soham the Government asked for a report on how it could have been Government asked for a report on how it could have been preventedprevented

This resulted in a new piece of law called The Vulnerable This resulted in a new piece of law called The Vulnerable Persons ActPersons Act

One part of this Law says that anyone working, in certain One part of this Law says that anyone working, in certain jobs, with vulnerable children or adults will need to register jobs, with vulnerable children or adults will need to register with the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) before with the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) before they can start workthey can start work
