H-CMB Modular Ballistic or Non-Ballistic Helicopter Helmet This advanced unique Modular Helmet is oven cured in an auto clave, resulting in a high strength,lightweight helmet. Modular comfort pads make the helmets suitable for use both in civilian and mil-itary operations. The main features consist of the modularity of its components, which can be chosen according tooperational needs. The NVG Quick Release, Maxillo Face Shield and a wide variety of Communica-tions are optional features that can be added.

The H-CMB is the most innovative designed helmet with a high degree of comfort and includes solutions thatmake it unique for any situation. Two Modular cover styles are available, Non-Ballistic and/or Ballistic utilizing afast and intuitive interchangeable system of the upper helmet cover. This is easily accomplished by removingthe three screws that secure the basic cover and the removal of two aluminum plates that control the visors.This operation is extremely simple as the visors and the relative rotation mechanism remain assembled and an-chored to the basic shell. The helmet cover is designed for use with an ANVIS mounting bracket. A Velcro in-sert or slide bracket is available on the back of the helmet cover for ANVIS power supply mounting.A unique helmet with ANVIS Support (Low Profile Eyewear Compatible with ANVIS) performing multiple func-tions offering a ballistic helmet cover with fragment protection in accordance to STANAG 2920 v50 @ 300 metersper second.

The Maxillo Face Shield safeguards the lower face from rotor wash, flying debris, and windblast during helicopter operations. The protective shield attaches to the helmet with a complete installa-tion kit, that doesn't require any helmet drilling and offers an interfacebetween shield and visor that avoid the fogging effect due to breathing.
