Events - Networking Event - Do It 2012
Welcome Newies! Dear LC Zurich member,
Last Wednesday we introduced almost 40 new members to our LC. So, one
more time we would like to give a huge round of applause and a big
welcome to all our new members!
If you’re a new member reading this, then you’re probably wondering what
this is. Well, this is our bi-weekly internal newsletter. Here you will get all the
information you need about upcoming events, team updates and other
interesting things happening in and around AIESEC in Zurich.
So take your time, enjoy the newsletter and let us know what you think
about it!

more pictures from the induction event, then we suggest you take a look at

Wed, 17.10.12 – Networking event
Members, interns, alumni, our local partners and our partner companies – everyone is invited to our networking event coming up next Wednesday.
The evening will begin with a speech by Mr. Marbach (founder of SAMBA, C-Talks) and it will continue with
a special workshop about networking. After the workshop there will be an aperitif, where you can practice the networking techniques you have just
learned in the workshop.

Updates
General Assembly - At the first GA of this term the LC voted on a couple of
things. First of all, we accepted the budget for this term (the teams have to lower the
expenses for the team building and we have to pay more taxes to the MC in Bern).
Changes to the compendium of the LC were also accepted (members don’t have to pay a
membership fee anymore & if members are not able to attend all four days of the
national conferences, they may have to pay the conference fee themselves). But the
most important thing is: We elected our VPER and also our OCPCD for this term! So
congratulations and a big round of applause to our new VPER Julian Osborne and the
new OCPCD Ardiana Dushku! We are sure you’re going to do an amazing job!

KPMG Event – Between the GA and the induction event last week, we had a very
special LCM : Maike Sprenger from KPMG came to our university to deliver a speech &
workshop about smalltalk. Since this was an open event, there were over 60 people
attending it and making this very interesting workshop a huge success.
Recruitment – … is over! As you may have seen last Wednesday, the TM team did an
awesome job recruiting new members. Thank you guys! Now you can relax and spend
some time with the new members you recruited :)

Old apartment – The IM team decided to get rid of the apartment in
Langgruetrstrasse in Albisrieden. We don`t need the place anymore and we can save a lot
of money by getting rid of it. Bye bye, old appartement…

OGX promo – The OGX team is in the middle of OGX-promotion-preparation and
they`re highly motivated to send as many people as possible abroad! The next XPS will
take place on 27.10.12.

Restructuring – After we’ve supported the recruitment process, we are about to start
supporting the OGX promotion coming up. Also, since we have four new awesome
members, we are planning on restructuring our team and implementing some new jobs.
