We hope that you are able to find a camp that resonates with the passion in your children’s soul, allowing them to further develop their God-given gifts or to explore new areas of interest. Please note that the grade levels indicated refer to the grade students will be entering in the fall. Speed & Explosion Camp Grades: 1st - 12th Date/Time: June 24th - 26th; 9AM - 12PM Cost: $70/student; $100/2 siblings; $150/3 siblings Male and female athletes from all sports will be instructed on running mechanics, agility drills, flexibility, plyometrics and exercises to enhance explosiveness, acceleration and quickness. Students should wear appropriate training gear. Drinks and snacks will be provided; an athletic trainer will be on staff. Academic & Art Camp OfferingsDissection CampInstructor: Anne BleistineDate/Time: June 29 - 30th, 8AM - 3PMGrades: 6th - 8th gradeCost: $50Enrollment: 8 min/ 20 max studentsTime to get your hands dirty! Campers will explore the lifecycles and anatomy of crayfish and starfish through dissection. Please pack a lunch; snacks and drinks provided.

Journalism CampInstructor: Leslie Laird & Anne WeissDate/Time: July 20th - 24th, 9AM - 2PMGrades: 5th - 7th gradeCost: $100Enrollment: 10 min/20 max studentsStudents will learn the skills needed to write and produce a mini-newspaper. Sessions will include interviewing, writing, layout, news-gathering, photography, and broadcast journalism through hands-on activities, guest speakers, and interactive events.

Music Theater CampInstructor: Dana Kinsey (Acting), Tracy Sanchez (Dance), Lisa Sterner (Vocal)Date/Time: August 4th - 6th, 9AM - 4PM with a 4PM Performance on ThuGrades: 5th - 9th gradeCost: $75 ($125/family)Students will learn technique and perform in a showcase as dancers, singers and actors. From an authentic audition experience to realistic rehearsals exploring texts like trained actors, you will mount songs, dances and scenes from a musical.

Artists will examine details of our land, sea and the sky creating artwork that captures the beauty of nature. We will utilize many different media, including paint, clay and recycled materials.

Music-Related Camp OfferingsThe goal of our music-related camps is to show students how the skills they have acquired in the music classroom can be applied in live choral performance situations, playing in an ensemble. These camp will focus on building a strong understanding of performing as an ensemble, vocal/sound production, posture and energy. Students will also have the opportunity to develop skills within sectional ensembles/rehearsals, large ensembles, and chamber ensembles.
