Founded in 2006 by Steve Lazarides, the group represents some of the most exciting and innovative artists working today including Antony Micallef, David Choe, JR, Vhils, Faile, Jonathan Yeo, Charlie Isoe, Conor Harrington, Ian Francis, Stanley Donwood, 3D, Invader, Zevs, Mode 2, Todd James /Reas, Blu, Paul Insect and BÄST.

In addition to its extensive exhibition program Lazarides has also presented numerous art events outside of the UK, most notably: Banksy's Barely Legal in Los Angeles (2006), Antony Micallef's Impure Idols also in LA (2007), The Outsiders in New York (2008), Eurotrash in LA (2010) plus others by Jonathan Yeo and David Choe. Off-site shows in Britain include Faile's Lost in Glimmering Shadows (2008) and Hell's Half Acre (2010) in conjunction with the Old Vic Tunnels.

About The Old Vic Tunnels:

Hidden beneath Waterloo Station lies a labyrinth of mystical railway arches, known as The Old Vic Tunnels. The Old Vic acquired the lease for Tunnels 228-332 from BRB (Residuary), formerly British Rail, in February 2010. This unique performance venue has since been home to an exciting plethora of art, music and theatre events. The Old Vic Tunnels were the setting for the critically acclaimed Lazarides production Hellʼs Half Acre (2010), shows by The Villagers, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros and the legendary New York Dolls. They have also welcomed Secret Cinema, National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, the wildly decadent Boom Boom Cabaret Club and launched with the premier of Banksyʼs first film Exit Through The Gift Shop (2010). In May 2010 The Old Vic Tunnels was awarded a Big Society Award from Number 10. The venueʼs reputation as Londonʼs most innovative underground performance venue continues to strengthen and it will continue to showcase some of the most cutting-edge arts projects the industry has to offer. www.oldvictunnels.com

About PRET A DINER:

PRET A DINER was created in 2004 by one of Germany's most well known caterers, KP Kofler, Founder and CEO of Kofler & Kompanie. Bringing together some of the best chefs in the world to combine their technical know-how and their unique form of creative cuisine, PRET A DINER 2011 is a pop up series combining a restaurant, club lounge, social club and gallery. PRET A DINER is a world class dining experience marrying Michelin Star chefs, art and music to dynamically redefine ʻexperientialʼ. Trend-setting themes, such as currently TRADIZIONE NUOVA (after “GREEN GLAMOUR,“ “HAND-MADE,“ “Made in Germany,“ “The Spice of Life“ and “Küche der Emotionen“ (Kitchen of Emotions), are interpreted and presented within the meaning of “satisfying all senses.“ Highly paid top chefs such as Juan Amador, Ingo Holland, Heiko Antonwiecz, Hans Horberth, Tim Raue and Massimo Bottura interpret the seasonal motto of each theme together with K&Kʼs chef of cuisine Kay Schoeneberg. “My aim is to tempt and to train – to show the people what levels of taste

sensation can be experienced when enjoying our dishes. That harmony exists between atmosphere, enjoyment and well-being”.- KP Kofler,.

About Nuno Mendes:

Nuno Mendesʼ vast experience spans from his culinary training in San Francisco to working with some of the worldʼs leading chefs such as Wolfgang Puck, Rocco di Spirito and Jean-Georges Vongerichten in both New York and London. Mendes is a pioneer in gastronomy, a traveller or ʻviajanteʼ who has explored the globe in search of unique ingredients, innovative techniques and first hand experience on local farms. Nunoʼs tasting menus combine the simple with the extravagant, taking inspiration from Portugal, Spain, Asia and Scandinavia, culminating in menus that manifest as “the sum of my experiences until today”, according to Mendes. He opened Viajante at Town Hall Hotel in March 2010 and it gained the coveted Michelin star within itʼs first year of opening.

About Juan Amador:

Gaining his first Michelin star at the tender age of 25, Juanʼs culinary experience has seen him head-up six Michelin restaurants. Following opening his own first restaurant, Amador in Langen in 2004, the chef expanded his restaurant collection with Atelier Amador, and Tasca, all of which achieved critical acclaim. Closing Tasca in 2009, he opened Amesa in Mannheim, which in 2011 will be re-launched as Amador in autumn 2011.

About Matthias Schmidt

The creations of Matthias Schmidt offer a seasonal, original, pure and harmonious cuisine, which focuses on the basic ingredients while at the same time providing a sensual experience of the highest calibre, full of inspiration. Top quality, sustainable products are used to combine regional dishes with influences from all around the world. Every dish has a story to tell – whether culinary, cultural or creative. Schmidt heads up the team at Villa Merton which gained the Michelin star in 2002.

About Andreas Caminada:

Andreas Caminada, 32, learned his trade most notably under the great three-starred German chef Claus-Peter Lumpp at Restaurant Bareiss in Baiersbronn (the Black Forest) before deciding to put down roots in his native land. His work and obstinacy soon earned him two Michelin stars. Like Alain Passard, chef at LʼArpège in Paris, Caminada is passionate about vegetables, sourcing them from small market gardeners in Graubünden. Caminada is constantly transforming, sculpting and refining his products. He likes contrasts, combining hot and cold, sweet and savoury, mild and bitter, yet always making sure to bring out each productʼs own particular flavour.
