4. Ozone absorbs uv rays and temperature increases

5. Mesosphere does not absorb solar radiation

6. The surface of the earth warms the air in the troposphere; the farther away from the surface, the colder it gets.

7. Temperature increases but the molecules of gas are so far apart it would not feel hot. Satellites orbit in the thermosphere. Auroras occur there.
