Welcome to our 2015 Yearling Preview booklet.

Unfortunately this year we were unable to hold a parade day for the general public as we have done in previous years.

However that hasn’t detracted from the quality of the young horses we will be offering for sale at the Melbourne Inglis Premier Sale, the Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale both in March, the Sydney Inglis Easter Sale and the Inglis Vobis Gold Sale during April.

At the Melbourne Premier Sale we will be offering a draft of 13 yearlings by outstanding sires including Bel Esprit, Choisir, Commands, Congrats, Domesday, Exceed and Excel, Helmet, High Chaparral, Manhattan Rain, New Approach, Not A Single Doubt, Starcraft and Toorak Toff.

In Adelaide our young horses will represent Bianconi, Domesday, Foreplay, Magic Albert, Nicconi and Wanted.

Our sole entry in the Easter sale will be offered on our behalf by Three Bridges. This striking chestnut filly is by Street Cry from the good race mare Amarazetti.

The three Vobis Gold youngsters are by Artie Schiller, Elvstroem and Turffontein.

Please peruse the booklet and inspect our yearlings at the various sales venues prior to being sold.

This year we have a new location for the Inglis Premier Sale within the Oaklands complex. Our horses will be stabled in Barn G.

This athletic colt by High Chaparral (sire of So You Think, It’s A Dundeel, Shoot Out etc.) is from the sprinting mare Acceleration. Acceleration was a regular city performer who achieved success to 1350 metres. She was runner up at listed level and won more than $180,000. Followers of the Rasmussen Factor will note that this colt is inbred, (3x4x5), to the good dam Fairy Bridge. Acceleration is by champion sire Encosta de Lago, a son of Fairy King. Her mating to High Chaparral is designed to introduce Sadler’s Wells - a full brother to Fairy King to this yearling’s pedigree.
