After a meteoric rise to the number-one shapewear brand, the SPANX portfolio now includes swimwear, activewear and products for men. SPANX products reach consumers in more than 50 countries. At the Coca-Cola Company, she was head of the world-wide licensing division, expanding the licensing business to 54 countries and nearly a billion dollars in retail sales. Earlier in her career, she managed event marketing at Macy’s Department Store where she created and managed special events, marketing and promotions. Laurie Ann has been featured on CNBC, Forbes, Time, The Wall Street Journal, Fortune and USA Today. An active and in-demand speaker, she regularly shares her thoughts on marketing, consumers, retail, leadership, life-balance and other topics to a range of business, civic and educational organizations. She lends her leadership and energy to a variety of community, philanthropic and professional development organizations. She serves on the boards of The Carter Center, SunTrust Bank, AAFA, Metro Atlanta Chamber, the Anti-Defamation League, Pace Academy, SCAD, and is an active member of The Committee of 200 (C200). She was named one of Jewish Women International’s Top Ten Women to Watch, was an AJC Comay Fellow, represented the AJC before Israel‘s Minister of Defense and received the privilege of running the Olympic torch through the streets of Atlanta.
