With 20 years of culinary experience in 5 stars hotels and resorts, Laurent Bernard opened his first French patisserie at Robertson Quay in 2006. A year later, Laurent opened another cafe-restaurant at Portsdown, followed by a retail outlet at Takashimaya food hall and this last September 2012 a boutique at St Regis Hotel.

The success of Laurent Bernard Chocolatier brand is due to the passion and commitment of the chef himself. Each indulgent piece of chocolate is painstakingly developed and moulded with love and creativity. The strenght of the company is its capacity to adapt the products to the customer’s requirements.

The products, from chocolate pralines to pastries, are made in Singapore with French ingredients, under Laurent Bernard supervision who can ensure the quality and the safety of his products. Laurent Bernard Chocolatier has received The Best Chocolates Award from Singapore Tatler’s The Best of Singapore three years consecutively, in 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Where the cocoa comes from, how to recognise good from bad chocolates and which chocolates make you fat! All the subjects you want to talk about will be covered in this interactive workshop with Chef Laurent.

After a quick speech on chocolate, play some games about taste: try different cocoa origins, recognize salty, bitter, sweet and acid tastes or you can even try the chocolate breath!
