Outpatient Neuro: Brooks Rehabilitation; Jacksonville, FL; Sept. 2016 - Dec. 2016 Performed gait analysis and training for individuals with neurological
impairments such as spinal cord injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injury, and cerebral palsy.
Learned set-up and implementation of advance pieces of technology including Armeo, FES bike, Bioness, Madonna ICare, Balance Master, and Zero G.

Evaluated and treated individuals with various diagnoses including spondylolisthesis, psoriatic arthritis, calcific tendonitis, Parkinson Disease, and myelopathy.

including spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and Guillain-Barre Syndrome.
Volunteered at Wings for Life World Run to promote awareness and raise money for individuals with spinal cord injury.
Delivered in-service presentation on non-pharmacological strategies to decrease spasticity in the neurological population.

Obtained experience in the level one trauma unit, intensive care unit, cardiovascular unit, and neonatal intensive care unit.
Observed total knee and total hip arthroplasty orthopedic surgeries. Performed treatment post-operation days one and two for the total knee arthroplasty patient.
Delivered in-service presentation on non-pharmacological strategies to decrease agitation in patients with altered mental status.
