HymnAll Things Bright And BeautifulCecil Frances Alexander (1818-1895)

All things bright and beautifulAll creatures great and smallAll things wise and wonderfulThe Lord God made them all.

Each little flower that opensEach little bird that sings

He made their glowing coloursHe made their tiny wings.

All things bright....

The purple-headed mountainThe river running by

The sunset and the morningThat brightens up the sky

All things bright....

He gave us eyes to see themAnd lips that we might tellHow great is God Almighty

Who has made all things wellAll things bright....

Prayers

ReadingJohn 14 : 1 - 4

Jesus said: “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I

go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also. And you know

the way to the place where I am going.”

Prayers of Thanksgiving

This is our hope through Jesus Christ our Lord who gifted us a prayer to use when we cannot find the words we want:

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name.

Thy Kingdom come.Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those

who trespass against us.And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:

For thine is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
