DESCRIPTION
A series of high impact oil paintings by the emerging talent of Laura Rich. From her Dorset/Wiltshire borders studio in Mere, Laura creates canvases with depth using oils and varnish to create layers. Subtly abstracted from her studies, each painting is finished to the highest level and framed with a simple white wood.

Laura is a painter living in Mere, Wilts, England. She paints contemporary landscapes and seascapes inspired mainly by the downland surrounding her home and the Dorset and Cornish coastlines which she visits regularly. She teaches painting and life drawing from her studio in Mere. Bils & Rye are delighted to be the Northern outlet for Laura’s work and will be bringing Laura to North Yorkshire during the summer to create a series based on the North York Moors and North East’s heritage coastline.
