IT PROGRAM MANAGEMENT: Led operational and IT systems makeover of the agency following the September 11 terrorist attacks, which transformed DTRA from “a boutique agency with specialized technical skills to a full blown super store of combat support.” IT Program manager for DTRA nuclear emergency response, modeling and simulation, and treaty mission operations center into one centralized facility.

Directed planning, implementation, re-engineering and monitoring phases for new state-of-the-art operations center designed to incorporate the most robust, secure and communications and information processing architecture available.

SYSTEMS DESIGN: Quickly established a successful Crisis Action Team (CAT) facility within hours of the September 11 attacks, fully automated with information processing equipment and direct access to critical databases and websites.
