A Night with GeorgeWritten by BrendaMurphy, Directed by Tony Devlin.Produced by BrassneckTheatre CompanyFresh Claim Gallery, King Street, 8pmNot every woman gets to spend a night withGeorge Clooney, but Bridie Murphy does! Let’sface it, Bridie’s life hasn’t been all parties andpremieres like George’s, but it’s a life full of dramanonetheless. Bridie was quite happy to stay in theone place she felt safe and happy, with the familyshe adores, but events conspired against her. She isforced to accept change, whether she likes it ornot. In a period when Ireland is finding a newidentity, Bridie has to accept that her family haveforged new identities also. She takes George onthe journey of her life, the lows and the hilarioushighs, and charts the course to her unlikely future.‘A Night With George’ is a new and indigenouspiece of drama, brought to you by the WestBelfast Theatre Company Brassneck. It representsa fresh and new direction, while challengingestablished and malignant viewpoints, with the all-important razor sharp black Belfast humour as anavigational tool.Admission -- ££6 aat ddoor.

August Féile 30th July - 8th August 2010
