All our news for the year so far …

Every year we hope for ‘good rains’ so we know it will be a bumper season for fishing the rivers for ‘meter plus barramundi’. We work hard to land the big ones, and we also work hard to win new projects throughout the year. It is a great feeling to complete projects that work for us and for our clients. Our team has been busy creating a new breakout space for Clayton Utz; and we have just completed the installation of furniture for the new Charles Darwin University ‘Trades Training Facility’. Here is a snap shots of the projects just completed

ipsum Clayton Utz We removed workstations to make way for a breakout zone. Our smaller details included wall screen, wall hung bookcases from Europe, and Acoustic Wall Art. Tables were compact laminate, ottoman and chairs in colors that ‘pop’. KONFURB Block Ottomans defined the breakout space.

Charles Darwin University Trades Training The architectural and related services to produce construction documentation was awarded to Mode Design, and the construction of the $21 million ‘state of the art’ VET trade training facility at Charles Darwin University’s was awarded to LAHEY Construction.

Our team worked with Kelly of Mode Design for the selection, supply and installation of furniture for the new facilities. Here we showcase some of the furniture supplied.

Our core brands were used for the seating, furniture and system furniture. For the system furniture we used our manufacturer BEVISCO. Training desks and meeting tables by our manufacturer REGAL. The task seating and meeting chairs by our manufacturer ADVANTA. Soft seating and training room task chairs by KONFURB.

And other news … Sponsorship of Russ in the 2015 Kakadu Klash

The Kakadu Klash is held every year at the South Alligator, organized by the Aurora Resort. This year Russ and his mates Darren Minchin and Cameron Briscoe will be a team for the March 2015 Klash. The invitation only Aurora Kakadu Klash is the only fishing competition held in World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park. Fishing takes place on the South Alligator River and is conducted on a ‘catch, photograph and release’ basis.

We take this opportunity to congratulate Cameron and his team (Trevor and Greg) on their 2014 XXXX Gold Billfish Classic held out of Darwin early November.

Installation of workstation system furniture along with general furniture during our Wet Season in the Top End would have to be one of the harder manual jobs around. Especially when devanning of container loads of furniture with 100% humidity and full sun. Equally, carrying furniture into buildings when the lifts and air-conditioning have not been commissioned on new building sites is back breaking and like working in a sauna … so it is great to see our boys and our local installers take time to fish. Every February/March the fishing is at its best and here are photos of Russ with his catches and Darryl with his latest PB Barramundi.
