The user undertakes only to allow persons to work with the latch lock with Bluetooth LE and NFC who: • have been instructed in working with the latch lock with Bluetooth LE and NFC • have read and understood this user’s manual.
The lock is equipped with a 3V battery, which can up to 20,000 openings or maximum 10 months work. It always takes a check of battery state even if no opening means of wireless technology took place. On Smartphone the current battery status is indicated on the display in every communication. If the battery level is low, the lock unlocking automatic. The latch lock with Bluetooth LE and NFC is a compact, cable-free furniture lock for cupboards and drawers. The opening takes place with an electric motor, when closing the system locks itself. As a "key" you use Smartphones with the "my-lock" app. By contactless identification through a legitimate smartphone at the door, the system will be "activated" and opened. The smartphone is easy to program or erase. The installation of the lock with the closing part is possible without holes in the front door.

Danger! The electronics of the latch lock with Bluetooth LE and NFC contains a lithium-ion battery. Dispose of this battery in accordance with national regulations. When disposing of partly discharged batteries, ensure that no accidental short circuits can occur between the poles of the battery (for example due to key fob in pocket of clothing…): danger of explosion and fire. Fasten the partly discharged battery for transport using non-conductive adhesive film in such a way that no short-circuits can occur.
Important! Separate electronics of the latch lock with Bluetooth LE and NFC from the other parts and dispose of in accordance with local regulations and directives.
This product was designed and manufactured carefully. At the moment of purchase the warranty amounts 12 months for material and manufacturing failures. The warranty starts with the date of purchase for 12 months. The product can be exchanged prior to certification of the proof of purch-ase. The warranty conditions are limited to costfree exchange of the product or repair. Costs and risks caused by transport, installation or de-installation of the product and all other costs caused by the repairing will not be compensated. Liability for consequential loss—no matter which type—are strictly excluded.

furniture without a key but nevertheless in a controlled, safe way.
General safety instructions
Important! The user’s manual must be accessible for operators. In addition, general and local regulations on accident prevention and environmental protection are to be observed.
Important! If the door is closed when starting up or changing the battery without inserting the battery, the door cannot be opened via radio signals: it is necessary to break the door open. Follow the exact instructions for installation and start-up of the radio systems and replacement of the batteries. Remove the flat battery and to prevent a malfunction, wait at least 30 seconds before inserting a new battery. Observe correct polarity (+/-) at the battery case and the battery itself. Do not store locks with insert battery - never directly side by side and together with data media, as otherwise empties the battery very fast.
Important! During installation of the lock and strike plate, ensure that the door is not pre-stressed and stresses are not transferred to the locking system. There is a risk that the latch can no longer open malfunction. Avoid doors which are pre-loaded with a rubber profile.
Authorised opening of an electronic lock by means of coded smartphone via NFC. The Smartpho-ne must have an Android OS Release 5. The function of the lock with NFC is only guaranteed when it is used on non-conductive materials (wood, plastic) with an external NFC antenna. The reading distance is dependent on the smartphone. For metal doors or doors with metal coating please test the NFC antenna before. The unauthorized opening by means of coded smartphone via BlueTooth LE. Smartphone must have an Android OS version 5 or a smartphone version from iPhone5. The smartphone must be compatible with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 4.0) standard. Use of the lock in explosive environments. Use of the lock outside of the stipulated specifications. For damage resulting from incorrect use the customer bears sole responsibility, the manufacturer accepts no liability whatsoever. Any type of modification to the latch lock with Bluetooth LE and NFC is not permitted. The electromagnetic conduct of the latch lock may be impaired by additions or modifications of any kind. Therefore do not carry out any modifications or additions to electric/electronic components.
The use of replacement parts from third-party manufacturers may lead to dangers. Use only original parts or parts approved by the manufacturer.

Important Information!
The lock is always supplied with a security sticker with the unique Lock ID and Lock Pin. Each lock gets its own label. The sticker is very important and must be kept in a safe place. With the lock ID number, you can identify the lock with the my lock-APP and Bluetooth LE. With the lock pin you can change the owner (Smartphone) from the lock. Furthermore, with this pin code and the my-lock Android Service APP you can made various settings such as reprogram mode like open/close, different locking times and different lock types.

1. Open the battery compartment Remove the battery from the packaging. 2. Insert the battery with the correct polarity (+/-) in the battery compartment. 3. Close battery compartment cover The device is ready for programming. The reader antenna is activated! Important: Take the battery out for storage and transport!
When unpacking, check whether the components as per the description are present. Dispose of the packaging in accordance with the applicable regulations of your country.

Note! The lock assembly of furniture and the closing part must always be mounted so that the door in the closed state has at least 0.5 mm distance. This tolerance is necessary for the emergency opening in case of the low battery. Make sure that the smartphone used have a very good reading quality. There should always be a comfortable reading distance be available from the front of the cabinet of at least 5-10 mm (NFC). The mounting distance between two locks should be approx. 10 cm. There is otherwise a risk of interference of the fields of the reading panels. That can cause discharge of the battery.
Program the Latch lock With Bluetooth LE and NFC
On delivery, the lock is neutral. Programming can be carried out/altered at any time, as described in the following. Standard configuration means no smartphone is programmed. The mode „standard“ is activated (automatically closing of the latch). The programming procedure as descri-bed in the following, can be done/changed at every time. 1.) Installing the app from the Google Store or the Apple Store. To find under Swissprime my-lock 2.) Registration (one-time) in the system, follow the instructions on the smartphone: 3.) Turn on the smartphone BlueTooth on. The my-lock APP displays the new lock. Then assign the name of your lock. Now you are the owner of the lock. 4.) Now you can open the lock with the OPEN button. 5.) If you want to delete the lock, just pull to the left, enter pin code, ready. 6.) All other information can be found on the Internet under www.my-lock.com.

1. Introduction
KleverKey can be used to protect various items by using a smartphone running Android OS or iOS. Due to its customizable mechanical concept the locking system is suitable for many different lock types. All screenshots are representing the Android App version 3.5.2.0
1.1 Summary
Check out our Helpdesk to see a list of tested Smartphones (to be continued): http://www.kleverkey.com/en/compatibility/ Android: OS 4.3 or newer Please note: Reading distance for NFC may vary depending on smartphone since they have differ-ent antenna sizes. The reading distance is approx 2-4cm. Using BLE, the communication distance can be up to 8m (depending on environment in which the lock is build in).
1.2 Prerequisites
Connect a Google Account To receive authorizations, a valid Google account is required
Make sure NFC and Bluetooth service is enabled (if supported) NFC: Browse to Settings Wireless & Networks (More…) Bluetooth: Browse to Settings Wireless & Networks NFC and/or Bluetooth is used to communicate with the lock. Caution: Not all Android smartphones incorporates a Bluetooth 4.0 or NFC chipset
1.3 Installation
To install KleverKey app on your smartphone, use your browser and open the following URL https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tech.swissprime.mylock

2. Create account
After installing the app from Google Play Store, a Welcome screen will be shown.

2. Complete all the fields requested on the first step and press Next
3. Wait until an SMS with the verification code arrives or fill it in manually, verify your account details and press Next

4. That's it! Protect and Open your World!
Since your keychain will be empty, you can do the following:
Approach a new lock to use it with Bluetooth on
Ask for a permission (hold phone close to the lock antenna or scan a provided QR code)

3. Sign in
In case that the user already has an account, Sign In has to be pressed on the Welcome Screen.

If you already have permissions for your user, those are automatically loaded from the cloud. If you don’t have any permission, you can do the following:
Approach a new lock to use it with Bluetooth on
Ask for a permission (hold phone close to the lock antenna or scan a provided QR code)

4. Add a lock
1. When an App Lock has no owner, it will appear on your Keychain as New Lock.
2. Pressing in ADD, a pop-up dialog will appear requesting Name and the PIN of the lock

3. Press ADD one more time and in a couple of seconds, the lock is yours! After seeing the prompt “Lock successfully added.”, you will be able to interact with it

5. Remove a lock
It is possible to remove a lock being an owner and being a guest, with just swiping right

6. Details of a lock
Open the lock detail screen by simply click on a lock in the keychain. On this screen, you can administrate your lock and send permissions to your peers.
6.1 Overview
On this screen, some information about the lock is displayed:

Battery level (only for the owner)

Role (Owner or Guest)
Valid period
Sensor data Pressing on the menu (top right corner), is it possible to Edit name, configure (only for the owner) and to choose a picture to identify it.

6.2 Permissions (only for the owner)
This is the list of all permissions of this specific lock shared. They are ordered by user name and is possible to identify permissions of different devices of the same user. Every card shows the user name, picture and phone number. Also, the status of the current permis-sion and the pending one. If you have not yet synch’ed your lock to the cloud, you can do this by pressing the SYNC text and enter the lock pin. Afterwards, you will be able to see the permissions.

6.2.1 Share permissions (only for the owner)
Pressing on the + button (bottom right corner), a new screen will be shown. There are 2 ways to share a permission: enter manually the phone number, or pick it from your contact list.

After choosing the contact to share the permission, just press on PERMIT and it will redirect you to the permissions list. As soon as that user checks their phone, the status will be changed from Pend-ing to Current.
Note: If a user is not yet registered to KleverKey, you will get a message and can send him a SMS to invite. You should repeat the steps above after the recipient is registered.

7. Use of a lock
Depending on the lock’s wireless technologies, it can be interacted via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) or NFC (Near Field communication) In case that the permission is active and the communication with the lock is successful, the Access Granted screen will be shown. Battery level is shown only for the owner.

If the user tries to interact with a lock via NFC without having the proper permission, an Access De-nied screen will be shown, with the option of Requesting the permission to the owner.
After pressing Request, the lock owner will get an E-Mail with the information about you (your user name) and the name of the lock. He is then able to permit you access to the lock.

The user can check and modify his information. E-mail, phone number, Cloud plan summary and the fingerprint are shown. The pencil button allows to edit some information about the user.

After pressing the pencil, the user is allowed to choose a picture to identify itself (press on the cir-cular image), change name and e-mail if needed.

10. Settings
The Settings screen is divided in 4 sections: 1. Connectivity
The user can check if the Bluetooth or NFC are enabled on the phone. 2. Account
These settings are related directly with the user’s account. It is possible to: a. Reset a lock
Choose one of the locks on the surroundings and with the correct PIN, you will be able to reset it. This action will release the link between the lock and an existing owner app. Caution: All the previous shared permissions will expire!
