Dear Friend,
Brethren Retirement Community is pleased to announce our 7th Annual Charity Auction & Dinner to be held on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Romer’s Catering in Greenville. The casual event will begin at 6 p.m. with appetizers and a Silent Auction followed by dinner at 7:15 p.m.. Nancy Wilson from K99.1 FM is our emcee for the evening. This event has sold out the last six years with over 300 guests and more than 150 items to bid on.
This year’s theme is “Gala in the Garden”. Guests are encouraged to come in “Garden Party” or casual attire to spend the evening with us. All proceeds from this event benefit our Resident Aid Fund which helps us to sustain our ministry and mission of caring for older adults. The Presenting Sponsor is Integrity Ambulance Service and the VIP Sponsor is Second National Bank.
Sponsoring Brethren Retirement Community’s Charity Auction & Dinner is a powerful way to partner with our mission as we care for those whom God has entrusted to us. Through your involvement as a sponsor, your business will reach families in our area and will generate top-of-mind awareness as your company is aligned with a great event and an organization that continues to make a difference in our community.
We know our ministry to provide financial assistance must continue each year. The Resident Aid Fund provides a helping hand to those who have exhausted their resources. In 2012, over $3.5 million in uncompensated and charity care was provided to our residents. This is our mission. This is our calling.

Last year’s sponsors will have first right of refusal for this year’s event. Late sponsorships may not be able to take advantage of all sponsorship benefits due to deadlines. We will make every attempt to include sponsors in publications and provide other benefits based on the date when the sponsorship proposal was received.
