0The Lasso tool allows you to draw a free form shape to create a selection.

0The Magic Wand tool looks for differences in color and contrast (pixel differences) depending upon various parameters you set.

Types of Lasso Tools

0Lasso- Creates a freeform shape for selection0Polygonal- Creates a series of straight lines to enclose

a selection area0Magnetic- Creates a freeform shapes, but recognizes

boundaries between colors

Types of Wands

0Quick Selection- Creates a selection based on parameters to define color

0Magic Wand- Similar to Quick Selection but allows for more fine tuning
