High-Volume Ink Cartridge

The Epson Stylus Pro 3880 incorporates nine independent, high-volume 80-ml ink cartridges that increase the productivity of large-volume print runs while decreasing time and expense.

Maintenance Cartridge

As a helpful assistant during heavy continuous printing, the Epson Stylus Pro 3880 is equipped with a maintenance cartridge for large-format printers to support volume printing requirements. Replacing it is as simple as replacing the ordinary ink cartridges.

Automatic Black Ink Selection

Depending on the media type used, the printer automatically selects either the photo black ink set or matte black ink set for optimal results. There is no need to think about which ink to use for which media type.

Epson ColorBase

Epson ColorBase is color calibration software for true color accuracy. The software receives informa-tion from the color gauge and forwards it to the printer driver or Raster Image Processor (RIP) software, which uses the information to give abso-lutely accurate color within the range set for the printer.

Epson LFP Remote Panel

Epson LFP Remote Panel software allows easy printer maintenance via your computer. Starting the Firmware Updater function updates the installed printer firmware. The Paper Feed Adjuster function fine-tunes the paper feed, and the Printer Watcher function displays or reports printer status.

Advanced Black-and-White Mode

Taking full advantage of the three shades of black ink, optimal control of tone, brightness, and contrast is possible with this advanced preset option, providing users with easy access to a greater range of artistic effects with excellent print quality. Subtle, easily performed manual modifica-tions give the desired print quality every time.

Customize Your Settings

Various printing settings and media type, size, and print quality can be conveniently customized for repeated use. Custom groups are easily added and deleted as required.

A high-functioning ICC profile is indispensable for the color management workflow of demanding professionals. The standard ICC profile provided with the Epson Stylus® Pro 3880 allows the faithful reproduction of color tones on any printing media type. Used with color management software, the print output reflects the exact input images.
