We use the Pantone colour matching system for print colours. Computer monitors and printers display colours differently, so it is important that we have a Pantone colour if print colours are important. Due to variations in materials & processes used, colours may differ from the Pantone by 10%. Please note the lanyards are textured, therefore complicated designs will not print successfully.

Aim for a small Jpeg (*jpg) file on your camera settings: approx 50-200 kbs
Head & shoulders are ideal (or make sure that head & shoulders are at least 2/3 of the picture)
Aim for a mid tone plain background on a non reflective wall, (not glass, not dark ) e.g. mid blue, mid grey
Avoid busy backgrounds, keep it simple, and aim to keep the same background for consistency
Photos that look yellow are due to taking photos under ordinary domestic lighting/light bulbs. A very easy solution is to use flash, as this cleans out the yellow cast, ( from about 2 metres with zoom lens is ideal )
Natural light is even better, but make sure there is even lighting on the face - avoid dark shadows
