WORKSHOPS
The activities colour coded in PURPLE are known as WORKSHOPS. These will take place at school. We will be focussing on helping students perfect the techniques required to enter the world of professional work. The workshops include:
Team Building
Presentation Skills
Stress management
Interview Techniques
Time management
Accents and Intonations
CLUBS
The activities colour coded in BLUE are known as CLUBS. These will take place at school. The clubs are designed to offer students a wide range of different activities to try. These will encourage students to experience something new or perfect an existing hobby. The clubs are the perfect place to improve your language in a relaxed environment while learning a new skill and making friends. The Clubs include:

Debating club
Running club
Drama club
Card making
Mindfulness meditation
Poetry
Quiz
TRIPS
The activities colour coded in YELLOW are the TRIPS. The programme will specify if this is a FREE BELL TRIP or a trip that you are able to book and pay for at the Activity Zone with our partner Travelsights. The trips are a vital part of your experience at Bell and allow you to explore the UK beyond Cambridge. This is a great way to make friends, improve your language and knowledge of different parts of the country. Each week we will take new students on a trip into Cambridge as part of your induction. This allows students to become familiar with the city, learn about the history and feel confident in navigating inde-pendently as a result. The trips include:

LECTURES
The activities colour coded in RED are the LECTURES. These will take place at school. The lectures are designed to inform students on a variety of topics. These are useful to improve listening skills and vocabulary. Each lecture will allow students to ask questions at the end of the session.
SOCIAL
The activities colour coded in PINK are the SOCIAL activities. These are designed to allow students to make friends and practice their English in a social and relaxed environment. These include: Jazz Jam at the Tram Depot. Drinks evenings at various locations in Cambridge
FREE TIME
This is colour coded on the programme in GREEN. Don’t forget that you can book and pay for excursions with local tour operators in our Activity Zone and we can give you lots of advice on the best places to visit, as well as the latest information on events and places of interest in Cambridge. Come and speak to us at break time or lunch time each day in the Activity Zone. We are always available to give you tips to make the most of your time here in Cambridge.
