LESSON PLAN YEAR 4Focus : Language Art
Theme: : World of Knowledge
Topic: : My Hobby ( Anil, The King Of Kites )
Learning Standards: : 4.3.1 Able to plan, produce, and display creative works based on literary texts using a variety of media with guidance.
Objectives: : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to (i) read and enjoy the poem. (ii) make a kite with guidance.
Time: : 30 minutes
Teaching Aids: : Task sheets, picture of kites.
CCE/EE: : Creativity and Innovation
Activities/Steps:Pre-Language Art
1. Pupils look at the picture of kites shown by the teacher. 2. Pupils share their knowledge and experiences on kite flying.
Eg: Which kite do you like? Have you ever fly a kite? Do you have a kite?
While-Language Art
3. Teacher displays the poem on the screen and ask pupils to read it. 4. Teacher explains the poem.5. Pupils given the task sheet.5. Pupils list down the things needed for making a kite.
Post-Language Art6. Pupils draw their kites.7. Pupils make their kites in groups.
