your home rather than hurt it. There are many people that do not realize that when they are

planting plants in their yard, they can actually be creating a dangerous situation.

trees they should be planted at the correct depth to ensure that the roots are going to reach into

the soil and provide a root system that is strong and can withstand some wind.

When a tree is planted too deep the tree roots can actually weaken the stem and make it

susceptible to damage in the wind. When a tree is not put far enough into the earth the root

system will not reach into the ground and develop a strong system.

Hitting a tree with a lawn mower or even with a trimmer can be

higher chance of decay which can be very dangerous if your tree needs to be able to withstand

some outside pressures and wind.

Prune your trees properly and make sure that any weak branches or attachments are going to be

taken care of. This way, the tree will be in a good spot to be able to stand against the wind and

even shield your home from some of the wind, rather than becoming dangerous.
