Superior Features & Benefits of KIC Landing GearFEATURES: Bevel gears are forged steel SAE 1045 heat treated. Reduction gears are made in SAE 1045 steel, heat

treated and machine-generated, with wide gear teeth inoutput gears.

Gear ratio is 34.5 turns per inch of travel (low speed)and 4.5 turns per inch of travel (high speed).

Bushings feature extra rigid supports and powderedmetal self-lubricated material.

Legs made of tubular steel. Outer leg is 5" squaretubing and inner leg is 4.5" square tubbing.

Tapered backplate with 10 bolt-hole mounting pattern. Mounting Styles - Outside Mount, Inside Mount, &

Universal Mount are available. Travel lengths of 13.5", 16.5" and 18.5" are available. Footwear options include standard sandshoe, low profile

sandshoe and shock foot.

BENEFITS: Forged gears have the advantage of increased load-

carrying capacity. Close tolerances on the gears provide a smooth,

continuous flow of power with minimum loss of energyfor longer service life and greater lift efficiency.

Less cranking effort required (Exceeds TTMAperformance specifications for lift efficiency).
