Welcome to the Langco/Kueber Bull and Female sale. For those of you still left in the cattle business,

Congratulations!! It feels good to receive record high prices for our product, and lord knows we deserve it! This year, as you go through our catalogue you will notice a number of details, firstly that our long yearling bulls are similar in performance and in pedigree. This does not happen by accident. Our herd bulls walk our pastures and sire large groups of calves which are not fed creep. This is done to properly identify bull mothers, and the top end calves are good because those cows convert grass to milk, to beef. We then cull hard to get to the top 25 or 30 calves annually. The bulls are never pushed with grain hopefully increasing their longevity for you, the customer. Our goal is always to hear that the bull you bought is better 2 or 3 years from now than sale day. Along with our coming 2 yr old black angus bulls we are pleased to be introducing 3, 2 year old shorthorn bulls from mom and dad’s herd. We always loved feeding out the shorthorn angus cross steers as they increased both weight and yield, and graded unreal. We will once again offer approximately 20 of the top shorthorn angus cross heifers of which approx 10 are blue. We are pleased to have Kueber Angus involved with the sale and look forward to seeing everyone on sale day February 13.

Welcome to our 2nd Annual Bull Sale held at the Viking Auction Mart. Once again, we are happy to team up with Langco to present a set of functional, useable cattle that are

ready to work in their respective environments this spring. With the escalating calf prices, it is certainly a great time to be in the cattle business and especially great to see beef producers reap the long awaited, well-deserved rewards. With cow numbers remaining low, many are optimistic about the future.

Our 2015 offering is strong top to bottom and an example of the traits we select for; good footed, balanced-phenotype, and predictable performance. Each bull in the sale is out of a “flat-out-good” angus cow. The type of cows the Angus breed is known for; maternal, low maintenance, beautiful uddered, and efficient. The bulls are out of both walking and AI sires that we have selected for their structural integrity, predictable growth, and maternal merits. The bulls selling have been managed on a high forage diet for a conservative gain of 3lbs/day with longevity and integrity in mind.
