Scope of Works

• Construction of 74 panels 1200mm thick Diaphragm Wall up to 49m deep.

• Construction of 35 panels 800mm thick Diaphragm Wall up to 75m deep

• Installation of King Post (356x406x990kg/m) up to 24m long into 1200mm diaphragm wall

• Construction of Cross Wall 1000mm thick up to 36m deep

• Total 15,000m3 of treatment volume for Deep Cement Mixing (DCM) and Jet Grouting Pile (JGP) works

(drilling depth up to 42m with 24m grouting thick)

The challenges of this project include;

• Deep Excavation

Construction of diaphragm wall as deep as 75m from ground level with presence of OA(A) soil up to 35m

thick required high skill operator, intensive koden check and a close supervision in order to achieve good

trench verticality.

The challenges of this project include;

• Site Constraint

Constructing cross wall at the center of the site and diaphragm wall at the same time required a great planning

and sequencing of work in order to ensure both work can be carried out smoothly.

• Kingpost Installation

Installing of huge king posts into the narrow space of d-wall cage required detail technical study as well as

close supervision to ensure smooth king post installation.

• Road and Utility Diversion

Great communication and coordination with Main Contractor were required in order to ensure all the

diaphragm wall can be constructed within the given space and time.
