Strathaven, just off the A71 which was originally a roman road leading

Due to the village’s central Scotland location that offers fast access to

Strathaven is surrounded by open agricultural land where a variety of

Strathaven provides fast access to a number of more major towns in South

Lanarkshire including East Kilbride and Hamilton. The A71 also leads

quickly to the M74 motorway (junction 7) where North and Southbound

routes can be accessed. Thanks to the recently completed M74 extension,

Glasgow airport can be reached within 45 mins (traffic permitting).

Lambhill Steading itself is situated just off the Kype Highway between Strathaven

and Dungavel. A farm road then leads between rolling fields, passing just a

handful of residential dwellings and leads up to the Lambhill itself, previously

the site of Lambhill Farm. Lambhill Steading is instantly recognisable thanks
